Agadir (word that means "fortified granary collective" in Tamazight) is a city in southwestern Morocco, located on the Atlantic coast, in the Souss region, 508 miles south of Casablanca, 173 km of Essaouira 235 km west of Marrakech3. It is the capital of the administrative region of Souss-Massa-Draa and the Prefecture of Agadir Ida Outanane.- Neighborhoods Agadir
The current urban town of Agadir is the result of an amalgamation of the territories of four municipalities: the former a suburb of Agadir, the urban district of Anza, the rural town of Ben Sergao and the rural community of Tikiwinenote .
- The seaside
Lively and dynamic tourism seaside boulevard consists of 20 August, Tawada Avenue, Boulevard de la Corniche, the avenue of Wadi Souss, and Founty district Baie des Palmiers. It has numerous hotels, restaurants, modern cafes and residential villas.
A large beautification project of the city is being finished. Agadir has thus adopted a beautiful walkway waterfront about 5 kilometers. A recent marina with many luxury stores was built at the foot of the Casbah and at the mouth of Wadi Tildi.
